My name is Carisma Webb. I’ve been wanting to start a blog since 2021, but I’ve always psyched myself out. I created a Medium account in 2023 and published one post, then stopped once I gained an infinitesimal following and a few eyes on my work. The same situation happened when I started a Substack in 2024. I guess you can say I have a fear of success, no matter how insignificant that success may be. Once I feel as though someone is expecting more writings from me, I panic and decide that I am never writing again. This blog is a way for me to keep my promise of writing to myself, a space to practice and learn and pick my own brain.
